We offer a competitive remuneration package (compensation package in excess of $245,000 to $260,000 per annum depending upon qualifications. Locum rate is $1141 per day plus on-call stipend.

La Ronge is set on the banks of scenic Lac La Ronge serving a growing community of 5,000 locally and 14,000 people in total in north-central and north-eastern Saskatchewan.  Physicians work in the La Ronge Medical Clinic and La Ronge Health Centre, and also travel by road and chartered aircraft to 4 surrounding community health centres (Stanley Mission, Pinehouse, Southend and Wollaston Lake).

The La Ronge clinical group includes 11 physicians and a nurse practitioner. The physicians gain excellent experience in primary and secondary care (including low risk obstetrics), and are involved in community health initiatives. In the four outlying health centres the physicians work closely with nurse practitioners, community health representatives and other service providers to meet the specific needs of these remote communities.
