Pediatric General Surgeon

Full-time Salaried Position

Our Opportunity:

An opportunity exists to engage in a diverse and rewarding pediatric general surgery practice within a team environment. At present pediatric surgical services are provided by 1 full-time pediatric surgeon who is supported by 2 general surgeons with additional training in pediatric surgery. To promote a work/life balance and a manageable call schedule; the program has been approved to hire one additional pediatric surgeon (1.0 salaried FTE) to support the service.

The Regina General Hospital hosts the regions’ pediatric surgical services, obstetrical program, pediatric care and neonatal and pediatric ICU units. Pediatric oncology services are provided at the Pasqua Hospital.

Qualifications:

 The candidate must hold certification or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and eligible for licensure to practice in Saskatchewan.
