Job Description
The specialist will join our team of eight general pediatricians in a community based pediatric practice and will work collaboratively with the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan to lead the pediatric academic/teaching efforts for the growing population of medical students and residents in southern Saskatchewan.
Details of the position include:
· Provide teaching and supervision in an office setting, in the school-based clinics, community health centre, and Four Directions.
· Work closely with others in our Children’s Program including our Neonatologists, our Developmental Pediatrician, our Pediatric Surgeon and other allied health professionals
· Provide community based pediatric services
· Opportunities to provide sub-specialty care in a special interest area (as applicable)
· Hospital work diagnosing and treating various infections (pneumonia, UTI, cellulites, osteomyelitis and viral diseases such as croup and bronchiolitis), asthma, trauma, seizures, overdoses and child abuse

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be eligible for licensure to practice in Saskatchewan.
