Our Gastroenterology Opportunity:
The gastroenterology program within our region is very progressive. A few examples of the treatments and services provided within our 27-bed unit include:
· ERCP services for southern Saskatchewan
· Treatment utilizing biliary and esophageal stents
· An argon plasma coagulator
· Remicade infusion treatment
· Urea and hydrogen breath testing
· Programs soon to be started include - photodynamic therapy and M2A capsule
· The support of highly skilled therapeutic endoscopy nurses
The RQHR has also recently obtained endoscopic ultrasound equipment and is very anxious to provide those services to clients within our community. Call would be shared with other physicians within the gastroenterology group.
The successful applicant can expect an attractive income as the result of an immediately busy practice. The candidate must hold certification or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be eligible for licensure to practice in Saskatchewan.
