Job Description

This opportunity is currently a full-time, fee-for-service position in a very busy group practice setting.  It is situated in a very well equipped office with exam rooms, office, and a reception area.  A computer system equipped with physician billing software is available on site.  On call is 1 in 5.

Moosomin Hospital is a 27 bed acute care facilities that offers 24 hour emergency care, 7 days a week as well as outpatient/ambulatory care services.

Inpatient services include medical care to adults, youth and children 24 hours day along with Perinatal/Delivery Care, Palliative Care, Observation and Emergency Respite.

Outpatient/Ambulatory Care services include lab and x-ray, minor procedures and Wellness Clinics.  The Community Oncology Program of Saskatchewan supports an outreach clinic within the Moosomin Hospital.

Also located in Moosomin is the Eastern Sask. Pioneer Lodge which has approximately 58 bed long term beds.

Qualifications

Must be eligible for licensure to practice in Saskatchewan through the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Saskatchewan (www.quadrant.net/cpss).

In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to candidates who are Canadian citizens or those who have Permanent Landed Residence status.
